Fujifilm Student Photo Contest 2011




The brief is to capture what Senses means to you, how do you see things? what alters your perception? Although photography is obviously a visual medium don’t forget the other senses, how does smell feel? what does noise look like?

Senses: Any of the five physical processes by which stimuli are received -
Sight – Hearing – Smell – Taste – Touch

Photographer Wins: £200 worth of Fuji film and Trophy. Plus, professional quality portfolio by Genesis Imaging, containing up to fifteen 20″x16″ prints together with a 20″x16″ Clamshell Portfolio box. The printing will be supervised by Genesis Imaging’s Creative Director, Mark Foxwell, who will also mentor the winner for a period of one year. Eligibility: students aged 16 or over undertaking full or part-time professional photographic training, or full or part-time graphic design training of which photography is a major part at a UK based college or university.

Up to 30 Merit winners will each receive 10 rolls of Fujicolor Professional colour negative film.

Copyright remains the property of the photographer at all times but each entrant grants to the Promoter a non-exclusive, sub-licensable perpetual, royalty-free, world-wide licence to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, translate, publish, distribute and display any Entry submitted as part of this competition in any media now known or hereafter invented. If you do not want to grant these rights, please do not enter this competition.

Deadline: The Fujifilm Student Awards 2011 submission deadline the end of February 2011.
