One Day: Unabridged Audiobook
David Nicholls

Two people meet on the last day of university and forge a friendship which the reader follows on the same day of the year, every year, for the next twenty years. Emma and Dexter are so believable, so simply and eloquently drawn that you will take them to your heart. You will laugh and you will cry and if you don’t you are a hard, hard person!! Absolutely brilliant!

The Millennium Trilogy
Stieg Larsson

Boxed set comprising revised hardback editions, with maps, of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, The Girl Who Played with Fire and The Girl Who Kicked the Hornets' Nest, plus a fourth volume containing essays by those who knew and worked with the author, as well as other original material.

Doctor Zhivago
Boris Pasternak

Banned in the Soviet Union until 1988, Doctor Zhivago is the epic story of the life and loves of a poet-physician during the turmoil of the Russian Revolution. Taking his family from Moscow to what he hopes will be shelter in the Ural Mountains, Yuri Zhivago finds himself instead embroiled in the battle between the Whites and the Reds, and in love with the tender and beautiful nurse Lara.

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo - Film tie-in edition
Stieg Larsson

A forty year old mystery all mixed up with family feuds, fraud and corruption this is the first of a trilogy. There is plenty to keep your interest hooked and the two main characters are original and engaging. In places it is quite violent and disturbing but this is a superb thriller that keeps you guessing until the end.

The Ralph Steadman Book of Dogs
Ralph Steadman

Ralph Steadman - artist of distinction, caricaturist of brilliance, long time unsentimental dog-lover - here shows us dogs - everywhere. Dogs in furniture; dog dictators; fashion dogs; blot dogs; beer dogs and wine dogs, bugs that live on dogs and uninvented dogs.
